The Role
We are seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager for a full-time maternity cover (minimum 6 months), starting mid-September. This is a unique opportunity to shape and lead the marketing direction of two highly respected brands in the homeware and interior design sector.
As the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building brand awareness, engaged community growth, and ultimately sales for the NH Group; predominantly for NiX by Nicola Harding (NiX), but also Nicola Harding & Co (NH&CO).
With a focus on social media, you will contribute to the growth and visibility of NiX in the UK. You will be one of the team’s ambassadors for protecting the look and feel of the brand. This role reports into the CEO of the business and has one direct report; Marketing Assistant.
The role is a full time role, Monday – Friday, with hybrid working of 2 days in the studio and 3 days working at home, but with the requirement to be able to work in the Showroom one Sunday every two months.

Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Management
• In partnership with the CEO, Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications plans aligned with NiX's brand values and commercial goals.
• Manage the marketing calendar to coordinate campaigns around monthly business moments, product launches, and events.
• Oversee external agencies and freelancers (Paid Media, PR, SEO) to ensure high-quality, on-brand outputs.

3. Social media strategy
• Develop and implement organic and paid social media strategies for both NiX and NH&Co.
• Define and maintain tone of voice, post cadence, and brand differentiation across platforms.
• Lead influencer collaborations and partnerships to grow engagement and brand reach.
• Drive consistent community growth and foster an engaged, loyal audience.
4. Email communications
• Define email strategy, including frequency, segmentation, and campaign goals.
• Create and optimise automated workflows (e.g. abandoned baskets, swatch requests, welcome series) to increase conversions and customer lifetime value.
• Collaborate with the Ecommerce Assistant to build and execute campaign emails and flows.
5. Analytics and reporting
• Monitor and evaluate marketing performance using key analytical tools and KPIs.
• Produce monthly marketing reports with insights, results analysis, and data-driven recommendations.
• Optimise campaigns based on ROI, customer behaviour, and performance trends.
6. Brand management
• Uphold and evolve brand consistency across all communications in line with Nicola Harding’s creative vision.
• Act as a brand guardian, ensuring all messaging, visuals, and tone reinforce NiX’s aesthetic and values.

• Display agility in budget management, adjusting spend and forecasts based on historical performance.

• Adaptable and resilient to frequent changes in business plans and strategies.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a senior marketing role for an e-commerce brand.
• Preferable interior Design and/or homewares industry experience where traditional media and PR is still critical to success.
• Small company / Start up experience where adaptability and flexibility are critical.
• Strong creative vision and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for Nicola’s design aesthetics.
• Experience with key marketing tools (e.g. Klaviyo, Shopify, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics).
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce trends.
• Exceptional stakeholder management.
• Collaborative approach to working.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
