This charming former coaching inn, with its 28 bedrooms, lies at the heart of the Chatsworth Estate, overlooking the breathtaking landscapes of the Peak District National Park. Deeply connected to the heritage of Chatsworth House, the Cavendish Hotel reflects a unique blend of historic charm and contemporary sophistication.
Drawing on the Chatsworth House archives and collaborating with Lady Burlington, we worked to honour the rich history of the hotel and estate while introducing refined, sympathetic modern touches.

The public spaces, including the restaurant, lounges, and Garden Room, have been thoughtfully redesigned with bespoke furnishings, curated artwork, and a warm palette.
The reimagined restaurant offers an elegant yet welcoming setting, while the Garden Room provides a tranquil space for afternoon tea or light dining.

The individually styled bedrooms offer a timeless retreat, combining antique accents with understated luxury. Soft tones of cream and sage, heritage-inspired textiles, and layered lighting create inviting spaces that connect seamlessly to the Derbyshire countryside and the estate.

"A unique countryside escape immersed in history"

With a design that bridges past and present, the Cavendish Hotel continues its legacy as a place of relaxed luxury, offering a sophisticated yet welcoming experience in the heart of the English countryside.
