NiX Living is a new complementary homeware brand to Nicola Harding & Co. NiX is born out of a deep understanding of how people live, and what makes a home come together. A reliable framework for everyday life, NiX is a thoughtful collection of timeless homeware essentials.

You will be part of a friendly, dynamic team, working in a stimulating, open plan, studio environment. We take great care to look after each member of the team and to promote their professional development. As well as a talented interior design team, we have dedicated procurement and finance teams to support our design activities.

Position Overview

As the Marketing & Communications Manager at NiX by Nicola Harding, you will hold a pivotal role in crafting and executing strategic marketing initiatives. This unique opportunity allows you to lead the marketing and communications efforts for a distinguished brand in the homeware and interior design sector, focusing primarily on e-commerce. Reporting directly to the Brand & Design Director, you will oversee third party consultants & agencies & will be key in contributing to the growth and visibility of NiX in the UK and overseas markets.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:
• Work with the Brand and Design Director to develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies aligned with NiX's brand values and business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
• Exhibit a strategic mindset, contributing to the overall growth and success of NiX by Nicola Harding.

Email Strategy & Creation:
• Plan, strategise, build, and execute email campaigns using Klaviyo.
• Ensure email flows and automated customer-facing emails are consistently updated. For D2C and Trade members.

Marketing Calendar:
• Take responsibility for managing the marketing calendar, synchronising digital communications for business monthly moments and events. Including our 3rd party PR representatives.

Sales and Customer Growth:
• Leverage a proven track record to deliver substantial growth in both sales and customer acquisition.
• Align marketing strategies aesthetically with the NiX & NH brand, maintaining a consistent and compelling brand image.

E-commerce Focus:
• Lead initiatives to enhance NiX's e-commerce presence, driving online sales and customer loyalty.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, analyse competitor activities, and identify opportunities for growth in the digital space.

Analytics and Reporting:
• Utilise data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
• Provide regular reports and analysis, making data-informed decisions to optimise marketing strategies.

Brand Management:
• Uphold and elevate the NiX brand through consistent and impactful messaging across all communication channels.
• Ensure brand integrity in line with Nicola Harding's design philosophy.

Content Creation:
• Oversee the creation of compelling and visually appealing content for various platforms.
• Collaborate with internal design teams to showcase NiX products and tell compelling brand stories.
Establish and maintain relationships with key influencers.
• Proactively generate and implement creative ideas, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the role.

• Possess a strategic mindset with the ability to manage budgets effectively in a dynamic, agile environment.
• Commercial acumen- agile budget management, focus on ROI and cost benefit analysis

• Strong analytical brain

Leadership:
• Proactive contributions to both strategic and tactical discussions
• Influencer skills across a team of highly motivated and passionate experts
• Self starter - full of ideas, energy, with a ‘sleeves rolled up’, start up mentality.

Adaptability and Innovation:
• Demonstrate a highly adaptable approach to evolving market trends and consumer behaviours.
• As a start up, agility in working & day to day tasks is needed.
• Proactively generate and implement creative ideas, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the role.
• Stay at the forefront of industry innovations, incorporating new ideas and technologies into marketing strategies.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 1+ year’s prior experience of running a marketing function with a focus on e-commerce, preferably in the retail or interior design industry.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce trends.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for design aesthetics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bring with you your “Influencer black book” of contacts.
