We sell through our Queen’s Park showroom, our UK and US websites, and through an expanding network of trade and distribution partners in the UK and US.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record in the luxury furniture and interiors sector, and strong international experience, to lead and grow our sales function.
This is a pivotal role, responsible for delivering significant growth across both UK and US markets. You will oversee direct sales and trade programmes, while also managing relationships with distribution partners and sales representatives in the US.
The ideal candidate will be commercially astute, customer-focused, and highly motivated, with the ability to shape and execute a sales strategy that delivers measurable results domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a clear sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets across UK and US markets.
• Drive revenue growth across retail, trade, and wholesale channels, with a focus on expanding international sales.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities with designers, architects, luxury retailers, and distribution partners.
• Demonstrate a Target-driven mindset: set, drive, and surpass global and regional targets to build momentum, track progress, and reward results
Trade, Distribution & Client Relationships:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trade clients, ensuring NiX is their partner of choice.
• Work collaboratively with our North America Showrooms and Sales Representatives to plan and execute our US sales strategy, maintaining clear and transparent sales pipeline documents
• Host showroom visits, trade events, and client presentations to showcase the NiX range.
• Act as a brand ambassador representing NiX at trade fairs and international events and keep ahead of industry developments
Business Development:
• Lead the development and growth of the NiX trade programme, including international terms, pricing structures, and incentives.
• Identify new sales and distribution opportunities in the US and beyond.
• Support marketing initiatives to drive awareness and engagement in key markets.
Internal Team & Operational Collaboration:
• Collaborate with marketing and product development to align sales strategy with new launches and campaigns.
• Work closely with logistics and operations to ensure a seamless customer experience and international fulfilment.
• Provide leadership and internal training to supporting team members and junior sales/support.
Reporting & Analysis:
• Monitor and report on sales performance across UK and US markets, providing insight and recommendations.
• Track pipeline, customer engagement, and sales KPIs, reporting regularly to the leadership team.
• Analyse customer and market insights to inform product and distribution strategies.
Experience Required:
• Solid experience in a sales leadership or business development role within the luxury furniture or interiors sector.
• Proven track record of delivering significant sales growth across multiple channels (retail, trade, wholesale).
• International sales experience, including managing distribution partners and sales reps, ideally in the US luxury furniture market.
• Established network of trade and industry contacts in both UK and US markets.
• Experience in building and managing a trade programme.
• Demonstrated success in long-term client relationship management and high-value sales.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

• Hybrid working (based 2 days a week in the Queens Park Studio) and one Sunday every 8 weeks (with a day in lieu offered).
• 20 days’ holiday per year plus 3 days for Christmas studio closure and additional day’s holiday for each year of service (up to max of 5 years)
