At our Leicestershire-based wallpaper factory, we use a unique artisan printing technique called surface and surflex printing to create wallpapers that are truly unique and special. This "wet on wet" printing process allows us to create a wide range of colours and finishes, including chalky colours, that are not possible with other printing methods.
We begin by printing a base coat of ink onto our FSC paper base. This base coat is then followed by multiple layers of ink, each applied while the previous layer is still wet. This creates a unique layering effect and gives our wallpapers their signature depth and richness.
Our surface and surflex printing process is a complex and time-consuming process, but it is the only way to achieve our desired results. We are proud to offer our customers wallpapers that are truly unique and artisan-made.
Approx. width: 52 cm
Approx. length: 10.05 m
Area: 5.23 m²
Our wallpapers are made with a high-quality paper substrate and water-based paints. The paper substrate is FSC-certified, meaning that it is sourced from sustainably managed forests. The water-based paints are environmentally friendly and non-toxic.
