The Idler two-seat sofa's FSC-certified beech hardwood frame and solid oak feet are carefully joined and secured with a Lifetime Guarantee for complete peace of mind.

Made from organic cotton, our range of classic ticking stripes, pinstripes and various-sized checks are inspired by Nix’s love of vintage utilitarian fabrics. Wonderfully versatile, these timeless patterns are all designed by Nix and made at a century-old weaving business in Lancashire. A beautiful way to add depth and pattern to your space.

Seat cushions are carefully filled with a 50:50 mix of Spanish Barbary duck feathers – a by-product of the meat industry – and Quallofil Blue, a recycled fibre. The result is a cushion that you can sink into yet keeps its shape, eliminating the need for frequent plumping. Fabric covers are expertly stitched and every component is individually upholstered to be well-used and well-loved for years to come.

Crafted in the UK with meticulous attention to detail from seasoned, FSC-certified hardwood, our frames are shaped with a bandsaw before being drilled, assembled by hand and sanded by our experienced frame makers. Each frame component passes through around 15 different machining processes before being finished, ensuring the highest possible quality.
