Returns
We have a no-quibbles returns policy, and we’ll happily take back most pieces within 28 days of when we delivered them, as long as they are in their original packaging (unless we took this away for you) and without any signs of use.
When it comes to large items that are delivered and installed via our white-gloved delivery service, we will need to charge £75 to cover the cost of collection. However, if you tell us when we deliver it, and before the installation team leaves, we will take it back free of charge.
To return an item, please follow the instructions on our Delivery & Returns page.
Our made-to-order sofas are meticulously created by skilled artisans in the heart of the UK. Using sturdy solid hardwood, each piece is carefully joined and secured for lifelong durability.
The fabric covers are expertly stitched, and every component is individually upholstered to ensure a long-lasting and comfortable product that reflects true craftsmanship.

Experience the convenience of a smaller sofa with a low back, designed for easy navigation in tight spaces. Explore our 'Will it fit' guide for added reassurance.
Our cushions are filled with duck feathers, foam, and fibre responsibly sourced from recycled materials. These feathers are a byproduct of the meat industry, ensuring they aren't obtained solely for their feathers.
The seat cushions have a balanced 50:50 mix of eco-friendly fibres and feathers, eliminating the need for frequent plumping.
Once a week, use your vacuum cleaner’s upholstery nozzle to help stop dust from building up. You can also use a soft, clean brush to clean the fabric, paying particular attention to the arms and any pleats. This will help to combat fabric wear and stop colour fading.
Our seat cushions have the same fabric on the top and bottom, making it easy to flip them over when plumping.
At NiX by Nicola Harding, we believe it is our responsibility to make things that last.
Our products are designed to be future heirlooms, investment pieces that will stand the test of time and endure across generations. That's why all our upholstery frames come with a lifetime guarantee.
Crafted in the UK with meticulous attention to detail from seasoned, FSC-certified hardwood, our frames are shaped with a bandsaw before being drilled, assembled by hand and sanded by our experienced frame makers. Each frame component passes through around 15 different machining processes before being finished, ensuring the highest possible quality.
NiX by Nicola Harding, designed for real life, elegant and built to last.

NiX by Nicola Harding, designed for real life, elegant and built to last.
Over the twenty years that our interior design studio has been in business, we’ve found it hard to find pieces that meet our exacting requirements of purpose, provenance and price; a side table of a particular scale, the perfect floor lamp or kitchen pendants that work just so. NiX by Nicola Harding was created to bring these beautifully useful but hard-to-find pieces to life.
Designed by our award-winning founder, Nicola Harding, and tried and tested in our interior design projects, our furniture, lighting and made-to-order upholstery collections are designed to layer easily into your home. Refined yet reassuringly familiar.
At NiX by Nicola Harding, quality and craftsmanship are at the heart of everything we do. Each piece in our collection is made by our trusted network of skilled craftspeople in the UK and Europe using traditional techniques and responsibly sourced materials.
Our upholstery is made to order at a factory in Derbyshire, England, which has been crafting fine furniture for over 60 years, while our furniture and lighting is made by craftspeople in Europe at factories with whom our studio has long-standing relationships.
From the carefully constructed beech hardwood frames of our upholstery to the hand-mixed paint we use to make our wallpapers, every element of each product is carefully considered to ensure that each piece can be well-loved and well-used for years to come.
From the type of materials we use to our packaging and beyond, we strive to make responsible choices. We make products that create a positive legacy for homes, the community and the environment.
As much as possible, we use natural fibres and yarns that are sustainably sourced and are biodegradable. All of our cotton and linen fabrics are made using organic fibres while our intelligent velvets are made from 60% recycled yarns.
Our wallpapers are printed on unocated paper using water-based inks and we only use FSC Certified wood in our furniture. As part of our efforts to foster a kinder, gentler and more responsible way of living, we have developed services that facilitate the recycling of packaging and products.
