The Tuck in comes in two distinctive shapes to provide flexibility to any layout preferences: the Oval form or the Tuck In Rectangular version.

The Tuck In Oval form makes it a more informal centrepiece for kitchen diners or open-plan spaces than the rectangular version. Seating around an oval table is often more egalitarian, with no distinct "head" of the table. This fosters a sense of inclusion and shared experience.

The Oval version feels lighter visually, making it ideal for a smaller dining area or an open-plan layouts where you want generous seating without heavy lines or angular interruption. They allow better movement around them, especially in tighter spaces, as there's no risk of bumping into corners.

The solid hardwood legs are centred with wide feet which maximises legroom and allows chairs to pull in comfortably.

Choose your perfect oak finish

We provide three distinct natural oak finishes to cater to your individual preferences:

Oiled Oak: This option offers a beautifully natural matte finish, accentuating the raw timber texture and allowing for the table to pick up character over time. It will require a little bit more maintenance. Spills should be promptly wiped away to avoid stains, and we recommend using coasters to protect the surface. However, a gentle sanding and reoiling of the oak surface once or twice a year will help maintain its lustre.

Matt Lacquered Oak: For a timeless, warm ambience and added durability – especially ideal for bustling households – our Matt Lacquered Oak finish is an excellent choice. The finish provides a subtle protection from the of stresses of everyday family life – from cab sav to crayons – whilst still showing the natural beauty that comes from solid oak timber grain.

Smoky Stained Oak: The smoky stained oak finish is a wood treatment that gives oak a rich, nuanced look by combining the natural grain of the timber with a soft, muted stain that resembles aged smoke. It’s achieved by applying a translucent taupe-toned stain to the oak, which penetrates the wood and enhances the grain while subtly darkening the surface. The finish allows the natural texture and grain of oak to remain visible and tactile but it will also help to hide the everyday marks and stains that are more obvious on an Oiled Oak finish.

Delivery

UK Delivery is FREE of charge for this item, and will be sent via our 2-man, white-glove delivery partner. ​

​Once the item is in our warehouse, our 2-man delivery partner will contact you directly to make a delivery booking and will email you the details. Please advise them in advance of any access issues, e.g. narrow stairwell, no parking.​

​They deliver Monday to Saturday between 7.00am and 7.00pm in four-hour delivery time slots. Items are delivered to your room of choice, assembled if required and any packaging is taken away for recycling. They will even take your old sofa away with them (pre-booking is essential).​

On the scheduled delivery day, you’ll receive an email confirming the four-hour delivery time slot. The delivery team will then confirm the delivery time via a phone call, approximately one hour prior to arriving at your property.  

International Orders​

If you are located outside of the UK and wish to purchase our products, we can ship internationally. Before placing your order reach out to our Customer Service team for a quote on +44(0)330 058 1551 or email us with your order request, and we will do the rest. International deliveries will be given extra packaging, and crated or palletised for protection when necessary. Please allow a few working days for us to process your request.

Returns

We have a no-quibbles returns policy, and we’ll happily take back most pieces within 28 days of when we delivered them, as long as they are in their original packaging (unless we took this away for you) and without any signs of use.​

When it comes to large items that are delivered and installed via our white-gloved delivery service, we will need to charge £75 to cover the cost of collection. However, if you tell us when we deliver it, and before the installation team leaves, we will take it back free of charge. ​

Made to Order (MTO) pieces are made specifically to your exact requirements.  They can be returned to us, but we do charge a restocking fee that is 25% of the original price of the piece.

For upholstered pieces that have been made with your own fabric, we are sadly unable to offer a refund.
